Ema and her loyal French bulldog Mars are back for another adventure, this time in Australia. This is the second book in the Ema and Mars series, following The Mystery of the Canary Islands. Both books can be enjoyed as standalone stories or as part of the series.

Life without adventure isn’t life at all!” declares thirteen-year-old Ema. So when she gets the chance to visit Magnetic Island in Australia, she’s all in.

Ema and Mars are eager for the challenge, but solving the island’s clues proves harder—and far more dangerous—than they ever imagined. Why is it called Magnetic Island?
